Welcome to The Coppley Building
Two Historical buildings are being reborn to suit the fabric of the evolving York Boulevard Corridor and meet the demands of a revamped Entertainment District and ever-growing downtown core.
The Coppley Building (Started in 1856) and its redbrick counterpart (1911) will be renovated and tethered together in our latest adaptive reuse project, spanning over 100,000 square feet.
Preserving the past with the future, this project will feature 96 residential and hotel units. With over 40,000 square feet of commercial space, the original Coppley building will have a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and event space. While the ground floor of the redbrick building will be the future home of the Hamilton Community Foundation.
The buildings will be restored with original materials and features, including a new slate roof, heritage windows, repointed brickwork, and copper flashing. The two inner courtyards will be animated and incorporated into the overall programming of the project and the buildings will connect with a new pedway entrance of glass curtain wall.
Project will be completed by Summer 2026.
